High rotor vibration can dramatically shorten the life of fuel control items, propeller governors, tach generators, bleed air valves and other essential engine parts.

STS offers a complete engine core vibration scan analysis that ensures the balance work done to the CT disk during Hot Section is compatible with the static balance of the main compressor rotor. This vibration scan is then inserted into your engine log book and is useful in determining internal engine problems throughout the life of the engine.

A complete vibration scan analysis is included with every STS Hot Section as part of the Preferrred-Plus Program.

Propellor balance is another service that other engine shops would charge extra. However, STS performs a dynamic propellor balance on wing utilizing the latest Chadwick Helmuth 192A Analyzer system to within .15 IPS.

STS utilizes the latest "Aces" Technology Equipment to survey and provide 'in sitsu' fan balance for the JT15D engine.
